It’s HOT! St. Louis is no joke when it comes to heat. 95-100 degree days. We left Arya (my dog) back home so she didn’t have to suffer in this heat. The race track is gigantic! The grandstands are blazing hot in the direct sun. The pit space is massive! There could be a completely different event there and you wouldn’t know because of how big this place is. Carlos Arrieta and I are combining pits together for the season as team NST. We combined our tents to provide a massive 20x30 tent in between our trailers providing adequate shade. We continued unloading and setting up. We concluded the day with a track walk and then headed out for a steak dinner. Wednesday – Load In
Round 2 of the 2022 Formula DRIFT PROSPEC championship took place at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. This is one of my favorite tracks to drift at and happens to be the closest to home. Because we were 3 hours away from home, the drive was very smooth. We arrived at 8pm and decided to set up Thursday morning. The vehicle already passed inspection at Round 1 so it did not need to go through inspection again. Formula Drift driver Carlos Arrieta shares his mid season recap, showing off his Toyota JZ powered SC300. Check out those NST parts on the car! We'll continue to develop more products for this engine and chassis combination as the season continues. NST - NonStopTuning www.NonStopTuning.com Formula Drift driver Alex Lichliter took a few minutes to shoot a little promo video with his V8 powered 86, and we think it's pretty cool! We'll be developing more parts for the LS engine, and the 86 chassis, as the in-season development of this car continues. From dialing in his car for the course, to his first engine issue in years, through a big crash with an unforgiving wall, to hanging with fans and raffling off car parts! NST - NonStopTuning www.NonStopTuning.com Wednesday – Load In/Tech Our first road trip of the 2022 Formula DRIFT PROSPEC season was a 14-hour drive to Orlando Speed World for Round 1. My team and I arrived on Wednesday afternoon. Entering our third year of Formula DRIFT, the SC300 was up to par with all the rules and passed tech quickly. We are happy to announce that we pitted with Alex Lichliter and will continue to for the rest of the season. Alex and I have known each other for quite some time now, beginning from our grassroots days. It is amazing to see how we climbed up the ranks and are now competing together in one of the biggest platforms in drifting.

Since we live in Maryland, New Jersey is the closest Formula Drift event of the year. Our drive was only 4 hours away, so load in was extremely casual for us. We got in around 6pm, and proceeded with unloading the car and setting up our pit. After we unloaded, we went out for some supplies and dinner. Chris Tugwell met us later in the night. He brought his pop up trailer and pitted next to us. We were excited to be back in Jersey! Alex Lichliter sits down to share his recap of the entire Formula Drift Orlando event; from checking in and tech, to qualifying and top 32, all the way through to the end of the competition weekend.
