The NonStopTuning Scion tC II Crank Pulley is designed for tuners looking to reduce weight and increase the throttle response of their engines.
This OEM diameter pulley will neither underdrive nor overdrive the associated accessories, yet leads to great throttle response, and improved horsepower and torque numbers.
Each kit is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft quality aluminum, and tested for tight machining and balance tolerances. Every NST pulley is hard anodized for exceptional durability and is available in a choice of colors.
The NST kit is compatible the OEM belt, we recommend a new belt (available below) for our high mileage customers.

Well, I just finished installing the NST CR-lite Crank pulley. I would say the install was about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10 (easiest to hardest). With that being said, you should use the proper tools (impact gun to remove and re-install the crank bolt, and gear puller to remove the pulley) to facilitate the job. Initial impression: The NST pulley is significantly lighter tha the factory steel pulley. I was pleased with the overall quality of the NST pulley… As soon as I finished the install, I took the car for a test drive. I was very pleased with the noticeable increase in performance, and had a big smile on my face when I came back in the house. I took my wife for a ride, and she could tell the difference as well (which is good because it was a Christmas gift for her).

Ok, so I got the pulley installed yesterday(finally!) and the car is so much smoother! Which was a bit of a surprize to me. I ran the NST pulley in my xD and only noticed the hp increase, no real change in the drive itself. BUT on the tC2, I can shift smoother, rpms rise and fall smoother, the car feels much better. There is a noticeable increase in performance/speed at about 4,000rpm, all the way to redline. Which is much different from what I am used to in the pulley on the xD. The xD always felt like it gained a bunch of low end torque and died off in the upper range. The tC’s upper range increase is much nicer. Also, Its only been a day of driving, but it seems as though I have gained some mpg too… I am super happy with the pulley and NST.

^^ I have experienced all of that. I got mine installed by a local mechanic this morning and was charged $84, which I thought was reasonable. So for all of you guys that don’t want to do it yourself, use that as a baseline for what you may want to pay. I was in and out in around 30 mins.

After driving for a little while I’m now at around 23.3mpg where as before I was getting 19.9-21.2, definitely a gain in responsiveness and a much better feel when getting to higher rpms.

Had the pulley for 3k miles and then drive across the country(another 3K) in 2 days and everything is just fine. no leaking or vibrations.

My pulley is working out great! So far its been a whole week and no problems. I went on a little road trip this past weekend and probably did 500 miles. I was at a consistent 29-30 mpg and the car feels great. It definitely has better throttle response. As for the power gains there is a noticeable difference but only a slight difference. Very happy with this product and if they made a pulley for my wife’s Corolla I would buy it! lol Thanks NST.

I ordered the pulley on Friday, it got here on Monday morning and was installed this morning. Easy installation, no weird noises, no vibration, and feels great! Glad I bought it. There is a very noticeable difference in weight and I can feel a small increase in engine response and power in higher RPMs. Worth the money.

Install was pretty simple just time consuming. All you need is a good impact and it takes longer to set the gun up than to remove the bolt. If you have a standard just put your car in 5th or 6th and have someone hold the brakes while torquing to spec. This will prevent the pulley from spinning. This pulley has been great so far even though I have only 20 miles or so on it. Smoother through the band and more noticeable from about 3k-6300. The car feels lighter and won’t bog out as much accelerating in 6th at highway speeds. All in all I am very pleased with the product and I will recommend to anyone.

I just install the Pulley and The car just feels awesome!!!! it took me 5 mins. to install and it was worth it I’m also running a UNICHIP and the car doing great. Also I’m getting 36 MPG on city still haven’t got to a highway to check how it goes. And Thank you NST!

Just installed the red nst crank pulley today. I’m very happy with the response from the pulley.The Rpm goes up quicker. And i noticed it feel much smoother driving now. I’m just amazed how much horsepower the nst gain on my Scion tc2. I highly recommend nst crank pulley to any scion tc2 owners

I saw the post by someone who was concerned about their customer support, and I just wanted to say, that there was a small mishap (on MY end) and they were willing to help me out, and go beyond their requirements, I was very impressed. I've have no trouble getting communication from them. Got the pulley in and awaiting the knob. Overall pleased with the pulley. Pairing it with a light weight Flywheel will compliment it nicely. That's my car in the video years ago! Based from experience these pulleys are well worth the money. Does everything it says it does. Easy installation (depending on car and mechanical knowledge). I've had the NST Pulley on my tc for about 4 years/40k miles and that was with about 20k miles of having it turboed charged. After that I bought some for my 370z and what a difference it makes! When installing correctly and using NST products you won't have any issues!

I'd like to weigh in on my experience with your pulley for the tc2. I have had mine installed for 140,000 out of my cars 200,000 miles and it has been great! no squeaks, no leaks, no shredded belt, it does exactly as you claim. Hell the only reason I remember I installed the pulley any more is when I pop my hood to check/change my oil i see your shiny red crank pulley. Great product NST, and if i ever purchase a pulley or pulleys for any of my future vehicles you guys will be my first search.
